Everyone is worthy of a life free from violence.
‘’Hi, I’m Jennifer. I’m a mum, Registered Nurse and Founder/ CEO of Worthy Australia.
I first started work in the not-for-profit sector in QLD in 2012 and found myself working with
some fabulous nationally recognised charity organisations. Since moving back to Perth in 2016, I realised there was a real need for a home-grown charity organisation that directly assists women and children affected by domestic violence and other social injustices.
I wanted to be a part of an organisation that ran with 100% transparency, without ego, without pay checks going to directors; An organisation that people would relate to and want to be a part of. An organisation that wouldn’t just talk about making social change; one that would be out there every day making a real difference.
I couldn’t find an organisation that ticked all the boxes, and so Worthy Australia was born.
I’m so excited that we’ve been able to create a platform for the incredible Perth community to be a part of & I look forward to sharing this very worthy journey with you, because when we stand together, incredible things really do happen.’’
"Hi, I’m Martin. I’m a Chief Petty Officer in the Royal Australian Navy, Technical Director of Rockingham City Football Club, Men’s Australian Navy Football coach, a proud Dad, loving partner, and most recently, Director and Logistics Manager of Worthy Australia.
I strongly believe that Domestic Violence will only cease when men join forces with women, to put an end to it. I want my two daughters growing up in a world where gender based violence is a thing of the past and I hope that by lending my voice to this worthy cause, it will encourage others to do the same.
When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my family, playing football or watching football”.
