Fremantle Dockers defender Bailey Banfield and his wife, Julia, have been announced as the newest ambassadors for Worthy Australia!
Together, Bailey and Julia bring their shared values and passion for social change to the forefront, joining Worthy in its mission to offer critical crisis support through its Safe Haven program—transforming empty houses into beautifully furnished homes for women and children fleeing violence.
“What Worthy is doing is life-changing,” said Bailey. “Women and children deserve to feel safe, and Worthy’s work to turn vacant houses into homes where families can thrive is life-changing!”
’I’ve seen how deeply domestic violence impacts not just physical safety, but emotional and mental
wellbeing and long-term recovery,” added Julia.
“This cause is incredibly close to my heart, and Bailey and I are committed to being part of real, practical solutions for women and children who deserve to feel safe, supported, and seen.”
Their ambassadorship marks a powerful statement about partnership, purpose, and the importance of using one’s voice to advocate for change. By standing together, Bailey and Julia hope to inspire others to speak up, support survivors, and take meaningful action.
As ambassadors, the couple will play a hands-on role in raising awareness, supporting fundraising efforts, and championing community-driven solutions to the domestic violence crisis. Through public campaigns, media appearances, and ongoing advocacy, they will help shine a light on the urgent need for safe housing and long-term support services.
